Firefox ESR Install Instructions (Windows)

1. Uninstall any other version of Firefox.
2. Run the installer.
3. Press "Yes" on the User Account Control window.
4. Press "Next" on the welcome screen in the installer.
5. Select the "Custom" setup type and press "Next"
6. Press "Next" on the install location screen.
7. If presented with the option, uncheck the "Install Maintenance Service" checkbox and press "Next".
8. Press "Next" on the setup shortcuts screen.
9. Press "Install".
10. Once the install is finished pressed the "Finish" button (make sure Launch Firefox now is checked).
11. In Firefox go Menu (button in top right) > Options > Advanced > Update and make sure "Never check for updates" is selected.
12. Restart Firefox.
13. If you were automatically updated before you could disable the updates, ensure the automatic updates are disabled and start from the beginning again.

Firefox ESR Install Instructions (Mac OS)

1. Remove any other version of Firefox.
2. Open the .dmg file.
3. Drag Firefox to the Applications folder.
4. Launch Firefox and go to Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Update and make sure "Never check for updates" is selected.
5. Restart Firefox.
6. If you were automatically updated before you could disable the updates, ensure the automatic updates are disabled and start from the beginning again.

Signature Pad Install Instructions (Windows)

1. We strongly recommend that you exit all programs before running the install.
2. Ensure that the signature pad is NOT plugged into the computer. The signature pad can be plugged in after the install process.
3. From this web page, click on the Signature Pad link.
4. Press the 'Next' button.
5. Click the 'Install' button.
6. Click the 'Finish' button.
7. Plug in your signature pad device. You should see a new device detected message from the lower right hand side of the task bar.
8. Install the Certificate that is required (see instructions below).

Fingerprint Reader Install Instructions (Windows)

1. We strongly recommend that you exit all programs before running the install.
2. Ensure that the finerprint reader is NOT plugged into the computer. The fingerprint reader can be plugged in after the install process.
3. From this web page, click on Fingerprint Reader link.
4. Press the 'Next' button.
5. Click the 'Install' button.
6. Click the 'Finish' button.
7. Plug in your fingerprint reader device. You should see a new device detected message from the lower right hand side of the task bar.
8. Depending on your Access Control Level you may see a popup window stating that an 'An unidenified program is requesting access to your computer', select the 'Allow' option. You may see this message once when the install program starts and twice after you press the finish button.
9. Install the Certificate that is required (see instructions below).

Certificate Install Instructions (Windows)

1. From the Start menu navigate to the newly installed 'NOVX Systems' program.
2. From the sub-menu of 'Signature Pad Service' or 'Fingerprint scanner' click on 'Install Certificate'.
3. On the form the opens, click the 'Install Certificate' button.
4. Click the 'Next' button.
5. Click the 'Place all certificates in the following store' radio button.
6. Press the 'Browse' button and select the 'Trusted Publishers' and press the 'OK' button.
7. Press the 'Next' button.
8. Press the 'Finish' button and close any open windows.
